The view from Colorado this past two months: Cold
This winter seems to have been colder than usual, probably because we didn’t get the little break we usually enjoy in late Jan/early Feb, when things get unseasonably warm for a week or two — or even three — before plunging us back to our normal winter weather. Still, Colorado averages over 300 days of sunshine a year, so it’s not all bad. We did finally get some temps in the 60s in the last week of February. A bit late, but most welcome, and a nice reminder that spring really is around the corner.
And hey, at least the kids enjoy the weather. These three make sure I get outside for a good, long walk everyday — rain, shine, snow, wind, whatever… oh, yay 🥶

So rather than book recommendations this time, if you’re up for some relaxing and calming social media (and who isn’t these days?), here are a few Instagram accounts you might want to check out. Michael Hodges: my friend, fellow author (horror genre), and amazing nature photographer and advocate, primarily photographs wildlife in the remote wilderness areas of Montana.
